In 1906, the founders of Oxford Academy established a school inspired by Socrates’ teachings, adopting his words “Know Thyself” as its motto. It was clear that the school new its purpose, its audience and itself. The school has continued a hallowed success over the years but realized their brand image and outreach programs could benefit from a strategy to reinvigorate and renew.

Oxford Academy is a distinguished brand well respected for their academic programs providing 1-1 education to boys aged 14-17. Over the years, the school maintained strong relationships with educational consultants who assist in placing students into programs that fit their needs and promise. While this is an important part of the process for the school to connect with boys that align with their school’s offering, it is not enough to promote the full value of the school and to broaden awareness to new audiences. Too heavy of a reliance on consultants and personal referrals did not enable the school’s marketing programs to reach their greatest potential.

The goal was to revitalize the brand started with Spiderweb Studio and the marketing team prioritizing their target audiences and the goals for each group through the primary marketing and social channels. SWS conducted an analysis of current marketing channels producing a comprehensive Strategic Recommendations Report. The strength and vision prowess of the Oxford team enabled Spiderweb Studio to think out of the box for creating brand channels including website and social that would clearly distinguish the school from competitors, fully engage visitors converting them into leads and demonstrate the value of this organization to the industry.

Spiderweb was able to execute an enhanced brand vision that looked past the current perceptions to realize semblance both visually and through the positioning and messaging that reflected their inherent value propositions.

The Spiderweb Studio team continues to support the web and strategic marketing programs as the brand matures now building the SEO strategies, applications, and summer program along with technical support of the platform. And with the organization’s core strategy and channels in place, Dr. Fitzgerald has accepted a role as a Board of Trustees for this prestigious school working with the members to pursue the full potential of this unique and exceptional educational organization.
