Instruction Design

SWS provided instructional Course Design for the development of 15 Mindfulness elearning programs to be deployed on Canvas Learning Management system. The courses were for the full Nursing community of 8 schools to provide mindfulness and a variety of strategies focused on strengthening our resilience and mindfulness can help nurses manage stress and regain their balance. The courses incorporated Interactive programs with animated avatars and gaming to engage the learner and transform their personal awareness and approaches to challenging situations.

Instruction Design

SWS provided Instructional Course Design and Industry Expertise consultation. SWS partnered with Tenured Northwestern University professors to design new integrated marketing courses for graduate students of the prestigious Medill School which leads and implements the art and science of marketing. The course series brings students through an analysis of legacy digital platforms and then addresses marketplaces to include upfronts/new fronts and multi-channel brand integrations. SWS supported the design and development of the online courses which integrated Case Studies, Video, interactive sessions. SWS authored a Case Study which is an integral component of the program.

Bureau of Diplomatic Security Services

SWS was hired by the Bureau of Diplomatic Security in the U.S. State Department to provide a team of education, learning design, and technology professionals that will focus on the design to convert BRSO 300 courses into a remote learning experience incorporating the best practices for remote ecosystems. The immersive programs were launched on the bureau’s Learning Management system and be administered through their Training Management system. The multi-faceted initiative delivered the following services.

  1. Develop interactive programs using animated avatars with voice-over and interactive engagement environments.
  2. Integration of In-person and remote learning components.
  1. Design the primary learning concepts.
  2. Identify optimal tools/approaches for the Diplomatic Security audience.
  3. Test learners’ retention levels and measure effectiveness against current methods.
  4. Foster more productive in-person sessions with instructors.
  5. Implement gaming elements to challenge knowledge gained and application in vital scenarios representing real-world situations.

PROCTER & GAMBLE: AN OPENKNOWLEDGE VIDEO-BASED NETWORK Spiderweb Studio designed and built a video-based social network for P&G Alumni to share their Lessons Learned, Best Practices, and Business Insights. Videos are categorized, shared, and discussed among leading experts for growing the community value proposition and networking. The platform provides a custom Interactive Timeline, CMS with Video encoding, and proprietary taxonomy developed to serve this prestigious audience.
Hunt Institute: A Mobile event platform with custom CMS through SWS BerkAppGroup Division SWS designed and developed a Mobile platform for Hunt Institute. This first release of this platform was for each event attendees for direct, on-site access to the mobile application built to provide data, documents, directions and resources. The application offered information on each expert and keynote speaker with profile pages and session documentation. At the end of each session, the program provided evaluations for each educational session, an interactive map to provide access to all event activities all built on a CMS to enable the team to distribute timely announcements and manage content themselves. Designed in HTML5 as well as deployed on iOS and Android platforms.
Mattatuck Museum Kiosk Systems SWS designed and created the back-end database and browser-based dynamic exhibition catalog interfacing with proprietary database software, EmbARK.
TROWBRIDGE’S LTD: AN EQUINE MARKETING WEBSITE BUILT ON JOOMLA CMS. SWS designed and built this multi-faceted marketing environment built on Joomla CMS for easy and regular client management, video and picture updates, calendar, etc. This marketing channel strategy includes on-going support of all social media channels, video network and live media presentations.
Paul Newman’s Safe Water Network SWS has launched two successful programs including a Birthday Matching donation programs (website & social media) for the Paul Newman’s Charity-Safe Water Network. A video and social media program which raised over $565,000 in donations to build a safe water kiosk in Pathipaka, India.

SWS designed and implemented a leading-edge environment that enables this sales and marketing benchmarking firm to communicate with its members through multiple channels including podcasts, blogs, forums, videos, and more. Achieve used the SWS proprietary Mobile Event Platform for their solution to deploy and manage multiple event channels under one brand mobile application. The Platform offers a full range of capabilities for the organization to launch their mobile application with the intelligence to know which channels are to be served to each event attendee. YOUNG VOICES: A COMMUNITY SHARING PLATFORM FOR YOUTH WITH JDRF In partnership with Quick Compliance Enhanced Learning, SWS developed a video Contest and Community Development program to promote and increase awareness among youth for celebrating World Diabetes Day with 100% user generated videos done in partnership with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. SWS built the platform, designed the interface and deployed a successful program drawing in high volume of web-based traffic. SWS has had a long standing relationship and works on a wide variety of digital initiatives in concert with the team and their visionary strategies.
HERRINGTON’S Spiderweb Studio completed a comprehensive Channel Redesign and Website Redevelopment of the Herrington’s Lumber Company and Showrooms. To provide for the large variety of products and services, we developed a sophisticated publishing engine to expedite the ongoing promotion of new items. SWS reconstructed the existing Joomla site adding in a new backend and publishing capabilities to serve the varied needs of this channel.
VESSELON Spiderweb Studio worked with Spencer Trask Ventures to launch their new portfolio company Vesselon. This breakthrough healthcare technology company has already raised over $1 Million in funding with much more to come. The Spiderweb Team composed an integrated marketing program composed of a promotional video series, website, live events, social media strategy, advertising and CRM program. SWS devised the marketing campaign strategy to help launch this innovative business and to generate the momentum and credibility to showcase the product and its leading medical experts.

The campaigns included live text during shows with celebrity appearances, interviews, and other events as a part of her advocacy and community activism. We do work with celebrities such as @sharonstoneofficial to support her ongoing personal marketing efforts as well as campaigns we have run during her most recent Television series, Agent X, and for living speaking engagements and events.
